changing me

I love buying dresses. I tend to buy them any time I see one I like on sale so that I’ll be prepared when an occasion comes up. Today while shopping for the Sunday Night Dress I found two I loved equally – one black, one bright pink. I’m not sure which I’ll wear yet, depends on the shoes I find, but I love them both so I had to get them.

Now I’m sitting under the dryer at the salon and suddenly I’m contemplating cutting my hair off. I can’t believe I’m thinking this. I love my new long hair, and my plan was to not cut it until I get to my goal weight, but as I’m sitting here I’m thinking it might be fun to just chop it off. We’ll see what happens.

Yeah, it’s gone. The hair. I sat there thinking and thinking then finally just told her to chop that shit off. She was scared to go too short, so it took forever as she cut it in stages. She was afraid I’d hate it. Instead I kept saying “shorter” until she got to my chin. And I LOVE it. Dare I say it’s gorgeous!

I then spent 3 hours at the nail salon getting a pedi, waiting another hour for the best nail lady and then getting my nails done. I watched “It’s Complicated” and the first half of “The Lovely Bones” while I was there. This is one thing I love about this salon. They always have great movies playing!

Now I’m home and finishing up Big Bear’s cupcakes before I head to Will’s house. I’m sure I won’t stay very long and I don’t want to drink much so it should be an early night for me.
