all day long

I’ve been so busy – and engaged – at work today that I didn’t even realize I hadn’t written anything.

While eating lunch today I clicked on an article about the bakery that refused to sell the gay group rainbow cupcakes.  Imagine how fucked up I felt when I realized I was on the FOXNews website.  ARGH!  My eyes are still burning from all the hatred I read before realizing where I was.

Do we even need to do the Teen Mom discussion today?  All I really have to say is that I was so glad they kept mentioning domestic violence during the commercials.  I hate that so many people in this world think dv is only applicable when men are abusive to women.  I know everyone hates Gary, but I applaud him for not kicking the shit out of that bitch last night.  I’m sorry – someone kicks me in my back when I’m walking down the stairs and I’m gonna go all kinds of apeshit on his/her ass.

Does anyone else watch Rules of Engagement?  I love this show.  Partially because I love Timmy, the Indian dude.  Of course.  He’s so geeky adorable.  I loooove men in glasses.  Partially because Audrey’s husband (Jeff) is hilarious and that not-gay gay dude (Adam) is soo dumb he cracks me up.  But mostly because of the Indian dude.  *swooooon*

Today while investigating one of our brokers I came across something that bothered me a bit…his charge for “homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle”.  I was bothered even more as I read into it and saw that the charges weren’t pursued.

Last night I had a very interesting Mr. D-related realization while lying in bed.  Of course we all knew not talking to him would get easier as time goes on, but what I realized last night was that I haven’t spent any nights this week checking my phone to see if I had messages from him.  Last week I still did.  Now, the exciting thing about this isn’t the fact that I wasn’t checking my phone – it was the fact that I realized that when we were still talking regularly it hurt more when an evening would go by that I wouldn’t hear from him than it does knowing it’s been 10 days.  Does that make sense?  It did to me.  Means I’m caring less and less, as well as hurting less because I know what I’m getting.  I liked that.

Tonight I’m meeting Hot Flash and Asian Persuasion for dessert and likely some nice, hot tea.  I’m looking forward to it.

I wish people were more open minded when it came to matters of sexual preference. I know there’s nothing I can do about it but it really is so frustrating to hear and read about the continued discrimination. Then again, it’s 2010 and there’s still racial discrimination so what should I expect.

I fell asleep right before the fight on Teen Mom last night but caught it online this morning. I was looking forward to seeing but after I did……….hard to watch. Those two will eventually REALLY end the relationship. Amber, Amber, Amber *sigh* Only time will tell but if she doesn’t get help for her anger issues the next person she’s with may not be as cool as Gary was last night.

Nope, don’t watch Rules of Engagement.

Hot Flash and AP!?! Alright now! LOL
