Hmmmm…so what’s going on today?
My new friend at work did my astrological chart yesterday…not just my horoscope, but the whole chart. And then she did Mr. D’s and what she told me about him was almost scary how accurate it was. The first thing she said about him was “He has a lot of trouble initiating” and I cracked up. This was our biggest issue from the beginning. I’d never told her anything about him except that my heart was a little broken. She nailed him. Hell, she nailed me. Suffice to say that since she told me these things I’ve found comfort in being able to blame us not being together on the stars directly saying that we aren’t compatible instead of thinking that I’m just not good enough for him in some way. I like the new option much better.
The vacation… It’s still a little bit of a toss up right now. It will definitely involve a beach. And I will definitely be alone. Unless Seal wants to go. Now that would be ideal! I’d certainly be able to write a whole book on that. The last time I tried planning a solo vacation I got caught up in ideas that were bigger than my Corporate America salary would allow…Bali, Phuket, etc. So right now I’m looking at some places that are closer (and therefore have cheaper airfare – duh) like Costa Rica, Curacao, St. Thomas. In that order. And after this weekend I will be able to buy the plane ticket. Praise jesiis. Now I’m gonna need ya’ll to pray to jesiis that nothing stands in the way of this. I need it!
In December I’m doing cupcakes for a charity event that will be my biggest – and most legit! – to date. Hopefully this will bring some more holiday business!
