purifying

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking, talking and writing about de-cluttering, purging and organizing – from my apartment to my Google Reader things are being changed, simplified, directed a little more.  This morning it was brought to my attention by a friend that maybe a little de-cluttering of people would be a good idea, too.  I’m inclined to agree wholeheartedly.

I just realized I didn’t eat a single Christmas cookie this entire holiday season.  That right there is a fucking shame.  I have 2 batches of cream cheese sugar cookie dough in my fridge, but didn’t love the first batch I made so I didn’t make more.  I think I really just got lazy. Maybe I’ll make some this weekend.  I dunno.  Since I don’t eat many sweets it seems stupid to make a whole batch for one cookie.

Stuff I liked today:

WOW

This is pretty wild.

I decided to wear a dress on my date tonight after finding out where we are going.  Jeans just didn’t seem right…and I didn’t ever go out yesterday to buy the new ones I so badly need.

I did, however, manage to renew my tags today and I learned a valuable lesson at the emissions place.  Generally all emissions places are $25.  Simple, set, no shopping around necessary.  Today I jokingly asked the guy for a discount and he gave it to me for $20.  Guess it doesn’t hurt to ask!  I believe that may have been the first time I’ve ever done anything like that.

Totally random here, but does anyone have a good recommendation for a good hand lotion?  My hands are super dry no matter how much I lube them up in the winter.  I had a true blue spa lotion I loved, but I want something that’s easier to find.  Suggestions?  Gracias.

Do you have L’Occitane there? Anything from their shea butter line is woooonderful. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.

The cream nivea is excellent. I have extra dry skin as well and it really works for me. Also you wouldn’t think so but Suave has an extrea healing ot something like that. A friend of mine has some on her desk at work and I used some before I left work 5hrs ago and my hands are still soft.

I purdged friends a couple of years ago. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. I wore a dress yesterday and got fondled by my boyfriend. I guess I lookd hot lol

My doc recommends Eucerin, because the alcohol in other lotions is so bad for you.

Also, I ate your share of cookies. I’m a team player like that.

Hey Barista! Try corn huskers lotion. It’s not oily but does the job for me. Very old school…
