it’s not monday

• I made my co-workers a cake last night…vanilla cake layered with Bavarian Cream and balsamic marinated strawberries.  It smells damn good and for once I kinda wanna try it, but I don’t think I will.  The Astrologer said it was awesome as did the auditor who stood by my desk inhaling it. 

 

• This cake wasn’t Ace of Cakes, by any means, but it was cute enough that I could sell it with a little more decorating practice.  I may start offering cakes.

 

• One of my facebook friends has been live posting on the Casey Anthony trial.  I’m now listening to it as I work and I’m completely obsessed.  Her updates are awesome, but I wish I’d been listening all along.  It’s better than Law & Order. 

 

• I never had acne in my teens, but my oh my I do now!  I just ordered something new to try and hope it does the trick.

 

• OUM is out on vacation all week.  I’m officially on vacation from his mouth, so life is grand.  So, so grand.

 

• I swear I could easily run 10 miles if I could watch or listen to this trial while on the treadmill.  It’s so interesting!

 

• Ok, so I couldn’t really run 10 miles, but it sounded cute, right?

 

• My post the other day about Mr. D made me sound way more upset than I was.  I will see if I can clarify at some point.  Sometimes I just write to get things out and don’t take into account what will be perceived.

 

• I keep looking at this cake.  Damn.

 

• Haircut tonight followed by some running.  And then Bachelorette.
