free advice

Today is your lucky day.  I’m about to give you some free advice.  This will help you in life – trust me.

At work – nobody cares if you come in earlier than everyone else (per your different schedule, not because you’re an asskisser overachiever).  When the rest of us arrive at normal opening time we’re not ready to be bombarded with your mouth.  Unless our pool won the lottery there is nothing more needed aside from “Good morning”.

On being my friend – if you insist on being my friend I need one thing from you…please do not do anything that will cause me to have to testify in a court of law.  It is highly likely I would be a very bad witness because the minute the attorney started being a dick to me I’d go apeshit on his ass.  Contempt may be real, but so is respect and I’m not going to be nice just because you did something stupid.

On food – broccoli slaw is a huge time saver and is really quite delicioso.  And cheap at 3 bags for $5 at Publix this week.  I mixed mine with some feta, unsalted sunflower seeds, Persian cucumbers and light balsamic dressing last night and just about had an orgasm.  Awesome.

On food again – I don’t really like tofu.  I don’t hate it; I would just NEVER order it or choose to eat it.  So a couple weeks ago I discovered this amazing salad at Great Harvest that I crave pretty much every day now.  On top is their wheat berry salad, which contains chunks of tofu.  The wheat berry salad has olive oil, lemon juice, dill, garlic and parsley, so I figured the reason I actually liked the tofu on this salad was because of these things making it taste good.  Only I found out today that it wasn’t tofu, but instead feta.  Well no wonder I liked that shit – I love feta.  Jeez.  I’m sure I still don’t like tofu.

On saving money – I ordered new glasses yesterday.  The frame was $240 (frame only – lenses extra, of course).  I made the mistake when I got back to my office of Googling the price of these cute Coach frames to see if I could have gotten them cheaper.  $120 online.  Half price.  Lesson: Go to eye doctor’s office to see which frames you like then order them online. Side Note: They’re really, really cute and I might actually wear them in public instead of just in my bedroom.

On making money – Last minute orders for 360 mini cupcakes in 30 separate boxes (in sizes you don’t keep in stock and cannot easily obtain) just to earn a buck are a really bad idea.  Think before you agree to such things.  And say a quick prayer that I’ll finish all mine tonight!

Broccoli slaw sounds good, and yeah, feta is waaay better tasting than tofu. Tofu is weird. Tolerable, but weird.

I order glasses online all the time, got a few toss on and go pairs that cost less than $20 with shipping included, I adore Feta and now I wanna go grab some broccoli slaw.

    1) My manager gets here about 45 min before me…that gives him time to go through email and barage me with questions as soon as I come in. All I can say is “I don’t know”, “Did I get that email”, “Well I haven’t logged on yet”. Sigh. I really don’t want any coworkers talking to me until after 9…and i am pretty sure I have told them this.

    2) I can image you on the stand swearing :) I would make a horrible witness…I would end up crying and asking why the attorney is being so mean.

    3) Blech. You like it, I love it but really…blech.

    4) Feta > Tofu…actually they can’t be compared. How on earth did you confuse the 2?

    5) Lasik. It will change your life. That is all.

    6) This order may lead to more! Corporate is where you want to be!

Lol! My cute ones that I currently wear everyday only cost me 10bucks! However they aren’t name brand. Just my fav color(purple) and lovely. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on em since I got them a couple of months ago.
